Academic summer programme in Oxford University
Leading Education’s residential summer programme in 2023 offers students the opportunity to spend either two or four weeks studying in Oxford with expert Oxbridge tutors. Students can choose from two academic courses:
University Subject Exploration (USE), and the EPQ Boot Camp.
Students on the USE choose one of 3 academic 'schools': STEM, Humanities, or Biomedical Sciences. In each school, students will study 4 different university degree subjects across 2 weeks.
Students on the EPQ Boot Camp will spend 4 weeks studying for, and writing their Extended Project Qualification. By the end of the 4 weeks, students will have a finished (or close to finished) EPQ worth half an A-Level. Leading Education will grade and submit the paper for the qualification.
All students experience a full social and excursion programme in and around Oxford, including visits to London and Cambridge.
Accommodation is provided in single en-suite bedrooms in a brand new facility (built in 2020), which is part of Wadham College, the University of Oxford. The residence is a short walk to the historic centre of Oxford and students will live and study like Oxford undergraduates.
USE and the EPQ are ideal summer opportunities for ambitious teenagers (aged 14-18) interested in applying to a top UK university, or any English-speaking university across the world.
