International Piano Summer School, 3 - 8 August 2025

The Piano Summer School offers a comprehensive and broad-ranging programme designed for talented pianists aged 13 to 17 who wish to expand their musical abilities.
Up to 100% funding is available towards fees and travel expenses with all applications for financial assistance being warmly welcomed. Please contact the School Bursar for more information: bursar@smms.uk
This intensive course includes expert tuition, individual coaching, solo performance opportunities, and collaboration with a chamber music coach.
Participants also benefit from workshops in mindfulness, and yoga, providing a holistic introduction to the musical, mental, and physical skills necessary to grow as a pianist. The programme is ideal for those aspiring to study at conservatoire or university, as well as those looking to hone their skills in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

Daily workshops covering Alexander Technique, sight-reading, mindful practicing, and memorisation

Final concert at St Mary’s Cathedral, part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
